![]() Bill Ascol |
Bill Ascol is the Senior Pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma, having begun his ministry there in September 2005 after 28 years ministering in Louisiana Baptist churches. He is a former Vice-President of the Executive Board of the Louisiana Baptist Convention as well as a former President of the Louisiana Baptist Pastors' Conference. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Founders Ministries and is the Coordinator of the Saved By Faith Youth Challenge camps for young people. He received the MDiv degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Bill and his wife, Karen, have five children and two grandchildren. |

Dr. Tom Ascol is the Executive Director of Founders Ministries and Editor of the Founders Journal. He has been the Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, Florida since 1986. He received a BS from Texas A & M University and the MDiv and PhD degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is editor of the books Reclaiming the Gospel and Reforming Churches and Dear Timothy and has contributed articles and chapters to numerous publications. He and his wife, Donna, live with their six children in Cape Coral. |

Dr. Fred Malone is the pastor of First Baptist Church, Clinton, Louisiana. He received the MDiv degree from Reformed Theological Seminary and the PhD degree in New Testament from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of A String of Pearls Unstrung and co-wrote with Ernest C. Reisinger the introduction to the republished version of Abstracts of Systematic Theology by James P. Boyce. He also serves as a trustee of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. |

Dr. Joe Nesom is a native of Laurel, Mississippi. After army service with the National Security Agency and work as an college English professor, he entered the ministry in 1973. He has since taught theology and church history at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and has served pastorates in Mississippi and Louisiana. He has been pastor of First Baptist, Jackson, LA since 1983. His denominational service also includes the chairmanship of the Historical Committee of the Louisiana Baptist Convention and of the board at Louisiana College. Dr. Nesom is the author of Be Sure What You Believe, a popular-language introduction to Christianity. |

Dr. Tom Nettles earned the MDiv and PhD degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is presently professor of historical theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including By His Grace and For His Glory. |

Dr. Phil Newton is the Pastor of South Woods Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and his DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary. He serves as an adjunct professor at Crichton College in Memphis and the Institut Theologique de Nimes in France. He has also served as a member of the State Board of Missions with the Alabama Baptist Convention. |

Dr. Don Whitney is associate professor of biblical spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as the pastor of Glenfield Baptist Church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, for more than 14 years. He received the MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the DMin degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is the author of Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life, How Can I Be Sure I'm a Christian?, Spiritual Disciplines for Church Life, Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health, and most recently Simplify Your Spiritual Life (NavPress, 2003). |

Hal Wynn has served as the pastor of Northside Baptist Church in North Ft. Myers, Florida since 1985. A graduate of Luther Rice Seminary, he has served in various capacities of leadership in the Royal Palm Baptist Association. Hal is the conference coordinator for the Southern Baptist Founders Conference. |
